NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 review - Benchmarking

To benchmark the card we used our new testbed configuration:
- Intel Core 2 Quad QX9650
- ASUS Striker II Extreme 790i SLI
- OCZ PC3-1600 Intel Extreme Series
- Western Digital RaptorX 150 GB
- PC Power & Cooling Turbo Cool 1KW-SR
- OCZ Vendetta2 CPU cooler

We used our standard set of game benchmarks along with 3DMark06 and the new 3Dmark Vantage. Since this is a high end card, we decided to benchmark resolutions up to 2560x1600, although it is more suited for multi GPU environment, as it can be seen by some results that are in the unplayable range.
