We can see that on this resolution PEAK provides excellent performance, a little faster than NVIDIA’s competitor. In theory, both cards are quite similar, having 64 effective shaders, 256 bit memory bus and 512 MB, but ATI has higher clocks, especially for memory because of GDDR4.

It is the same thing in this western based FPS, the 3870 just narrowly squeezes the victory.
