Catering to users who require a convenient way to quickly create a protected wireless network that allows fast data transfers, ASUS, producer of top-notch wireless devices, has released the new ASUS USB-N11 wireless N USB adapter. This compact sized marvel allows users to simply push a button* on the adapter and the router to create a protected wireless environment without complicated setups! Additionally, the USB-N11 is fully 802.11n compliant – allowing users to have easy interoperability with all draft-N devices. Last but not least, the USB-N11 supports a whole range of different operating systems that includes Windows, Linux and MAC OS to further provide support for users.

High Speed Networking with 802.11n Support
Fully certified with the 802.11n wireless standard, the USB-N11 can provide data transfers of up to 5 times faster throughput (90Mbps) than 11g standards. This is ideal for wireless multimedia streaming, file sharing and online gaming. Being fully certified with 802.11n draft and WiFi Alliance approved, the USB-N11 will also allow easy interoperability with all draft-n 2.0 devices; and it is backward compatible with previous 802.11 b/g standards – allowing users to utilize b/g devices without any compatibility issues.

Easily Setup Secure Networks with ASUS EZLink
Users have always bemoaned the complexity of setting up a protected WiFi network. To aid in this process, the ASUS USB-N11 comes with a WPS button to simplify setup – allowing users to setup a protected networking environment with ease. All the user has to do is to connect the USB-N11, push the WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) button on the adapter and the router, and the set up is done – all without complex configurations. Being WiFi alliance WPS certified, this little marvel contains no compatibility and works for any WPS certified router.
Multiple OS support for Easy Networking
With over 70% of Wi-Fi adapters not supporting Linux or Mac operating systems, users often find it frustrating to setup wireless networks with hardware other than PCs – but not anymore. Supporting Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems, the USB-N11 provides users with versatility and value that can be used across all platforms. The USB-N11 will support the following formats: Windows: Windows 2000/XP/Vista 32/64bit versions; Linux – source code provided for driver build; and MAC: WiFi Utility (Mac 10.3/10.4/10.5) and drivers.
